Lucindale is a small town in the south-east region of South Australia, located 345 kilometres south east of the state capital, Adelaide.

The Lucindale township has a population of approximately 400 and the district approximately 1200 people. The town is best known for hosting the annual South East Field days, attracting an average of 22,000 visitors every March.

The town was proclaimed in 1877 and named for Lady Jeannie Lucinda Musgrave and a school was established the following year which now caters for reception to Year 12. Lucindale was named Australia's tidiest town in 1994 and was a finalist in 2006.
