What’s on for 2026

The South East Field Days are a family friendly event.

Plenty for the entire family bring everyone and have a fantastic day exploring our agriculture equipment and displays. Meet up for a delicious lunch at one of our many food courts available on site. Don’t forget our two huge general interest pavilions where you will find all sorts of things to tempt you from craft, clothing, wine tasting and specialty food. The Ag Tech center designed to showcase the latest in technology and innovations specific to the agriculture industry. Come and talk to the experts.

Returning again is Burrungle Park Laser Tag, Adelaide Balloon Man and Old MacDonald’s Traveling Farm. New to 2026 Airtime FMX an exciting and thrilling motorcross display.

2026 will see an incredible entertainment line up for all patrons both young and old. Further details will be released closer to the event!

Airtime FMX

Watch Airtime FMX perform live, jaw-dropping freestyle motocross (FMX) shows, featuring experienced riders launching motorcycles high into the air to perform stunts and jumps.

11:15am – How much pasture can we grow in the Limestone Coast, what does seasonal variability look like, and what does this mean for stocking rates?

1pm – Pasture quality and quantity: how to assess what is there and why it matters.

Saturday 21st March (AgTech Centre)
10:30am – The influence of soil fertility and constraints on pasture production – how can we grow more?

2pm – Prioritising investment and understanding the economics of pasture improvement decisions.

Quince Queen (Cathy Hughes)

Cathy will both inspire and share her knowledge, gained from half a lifetime of working with her favourite fruit, so that you can begin to appreciate the magic of creating beautiful preserves and a few delicious baked foods with quinces.

10:30am – Quince 101: Prepping and poaching – demonstration will include quince curd and Spanish ‘jam drops’.
1pm – Three in one quince magic – demonstration includes how to make fabulous quince jelly.

Brett Gray Music

Brett Gray is an acoustic rock/alternative country music artist from Adelaide, Australia. He is a crafter of songs that either get you moving or take you away in your mind to just enjoy a great tune.

Returning in 2026 is the S.E. Axeman’s Assocation. Always popular watching with precision, skill and strength.

Kids, teens and parents – Who is the fastest driver in your family? Try out the REVITUP Junior Racing Experience and find out! Race against each other on the virtual race track for ultimate bragging rights!

Adelaide Balloon Man

Free for the kids!
Come meet the talented Adelaide Balloon man! A talented artist who can create anything from simple shapes like swords and dogs to complex and intricate designs like popular children’s characters. And best of he does it all with lots of fun, energy, and enthusiasm, right in front of your eyes.

Old Macdonald’s Travelling Farms

Old Macdonald’s Travelling Farms South Australia bring a variety of baby farm animals to you, including lambs, chickens, rabbits, goats and lots more. A fun and interactive animal experience for young children with food available to feed.

Burrungule Park Laser Tag

Laser tag is fun and exciting and contrary to what you may think not just for children alone. Stay fit and have fun in our purpose-built arena.

Blue Yakka Trail

Always a favourite and organised by our local Lucindale Area School. A fun hunt for children to explore what’s on offer from the many exhibitors onsite.

2026 CopRice Australian Working Dog Championships

The South Australia Yard Dog Association has a long affiliation with the South East Field Days. The first Yard Dog trial to be held in South Australia was at Lucindale over 40 years ago. 

The South East Field Days has hosted numerous South Australia Yard Dog Championships. It is a very popular trial amongst yard dog triallers across Australia with two permanent trial courses. 

Trialling starts on Wednesday and continues through to Saturday at Kelpie Korner. There is always plenty of seating and shaded areas for observing the dogs and handlers work through their courses.
